Good Morning on this bright and wintry Monday morning!!!  Time to settle in for some serious writing this week!!!

Since I failed to check in on TGIF, I'll give my progress report right here.  I met my goals for last week and most importantly, I wrote the blurb and proposal for the Regency novella and SENT IT IN!!!  WooHoo!!!  Now the wait begins!!!   Let's hope she asks for the completed manuscript!!!

Here are my writing goals for the week:

*  Set up document for a new manuscript entitled:  THE VISCOUNT'S SURPRISE.  (Don't you just love that title?)

*  Start the opening scene of ms.

*  Finish a guest blog interview and send it back.

*  Keep ahead of the online class I'm teaching.

*  Go to my RWA Chapter meeting.

How did you do last week?  What are your goals for the coming week?

Happy Writing!!!

AM    :)

My comments keep coming up under someone else's name or with the wrong content. Now, I know I'm OLD, but I do know my name and what my goals are. . .LOL

I'll try again: I met my goals last week and want to do 5 more chapters of the blue diamond challenge this week. Plus, I want to submit a story to a magazine. Then I need to get some info together for someone else who is writing her memoirs and wants me to edit them--not sure how that's going to play out, but I'll meet with her on Tues. to talk about it.

This is me, folks--Judy--hopefully it shows up that way! :(

I'm about two days behind on my goals. Things I wanted to finish on Tues. were finished on Wed. Now, since it's a new week, I'm starting over. The only snag is trying to keep up with my writing and still get the Christmas tree down.

Have fun at your chapter meeting, I always have a great time. Writers are such great people, aren't they?
I am going on a trip to visit my cousin in NY. So my goal for this week is to have fun!!

Didn't make my goals last week at all, but then last week was a very crazy week. It started off with a migraine and went down hill from there.

This week will be better.

Great going, everyone.

Judy, Judy, Judy!!!

I'm sorry you're having name problems. You also used to show up as Judy Nickles when the blog first launched.

WooHoo on meeting your goals last week!!!

Good luck with writing those 5 chapters and the magazine story submission!!! You're on a roll!!!

Hi Anne Marie, I enjoyed reading your post and I do love your book title! I try to set daily and weekly goals. This helps to set a rhythm in my life to keep me on track. Things do come up, though, and allowing some flexibility in my schedule helps me achieve those goals. I also prioritize my daily/weekly to-do list: written in red(high priority means it has to be done that day; black (medium priority) means it ought to be done; and blue (low priority) means it is optional and can easily be moved to another day.

Well, that's how I do it. BICHOK everyone!

That's why I like Mondays. It's a new writing week and a chance to start over.

Here's to a productive week!!!

Here's to a migraine-free week for you and for me.

I started new medication last Thursday to help prevent those suckers. It' a beta blocker. Keeping fingers crossed for both of us.

Hey Tiffany,

I really like your system of prioritizing your to do lists. That's something I need to work on.

I'm with you on the goals/lists helping to establish a rhythm in your life and keeping you on track.

I don't know how I would live without my lists!!!

I finished edits last Friday. Yay! Over the weekend I put in 4 hours and got around 4000 words in a new story.

This week, I'm focusing on revisions to an existing work. I hope to get in 5 hours. *Fingers crossed.*

Best wishes, Anne Marie. You touched on a subject I need to look at more closely--weekly, specific goals that add up into the longer range goals I tend to make!

Have a great day,
