My goal for the week is to finish chapter two. Yikes! That one will bust my hump for sure, but to be sure it's a hump that could do with some busting. I managed to do a bit of tweaking today during lunch, and found when I was done that I had added another page. Yee haw! Had dinner date tonight, but they bailed on me, so plan to see what I can get written tonight when I get off work.

“Suffering for One’s Art Takes Commitment” A bumper sticker, huh? I like it. Maybe a chapter fundraising idea ;o)

1) polish synopsis
2) complete interview questions
3) character sketches for WIP
4) write letter to send out with bookmarks to family/friends
5) definitely survive the week like Judy!!!

(And I really like this idea of sharing goals, Anne Marie...very motivating!)

Is it that time already :)

My goal for this week is to edit/re-write the first 50 pages of the WIP and meet with my critique group on Saturday.

Interview questions done! Got part way through the first character sketch and had an ephiphany...have now abandoned sketches in favor of mapping out scenes to see if new idea works. First time I've ever done a scene outline...surprised to find I'm actually enjoying the process! :)

No writing got done last night, but couldn't sleep last night and added two more pages in the wee hours of the morning. Dialogue in GREAT for upping the page count, eh?

Yesterday, I organized my notes and lessons from the online class I taught and saved them on a jump drive and in an email. Don't want anything to happen to those suckers!!!

I added one more page to the novella and updated the sidebar on the blog.

I also started formating the guest blog for tomorrow and I'm so glad that I did, because I could not open the document she'd sent back. Lesson learned: Don't wait until last moment to check on interview question documents!!!

I have errands to run today, but I will add another page, because y'all are holding me accountable. Right!!!???!!!

Happy Writing!!!

LOL, Marie!!!

Mondays do tend to creep up with a regular tendency, don't they?

Good luck with the rewrites/edits!!!

Tuesday evening:

Added a page to the novella. WooHoo!!! I'm now on page 3. Don't you just love starting a new story? I'm already having fun!!!

Ann Peake said...

No, no, no! I detest the creating part. It's so freakin hard. I like editing.

Anne Marie Novark said...

LOL, Ann.

I actually enjoy both parts . . . most of the time. Sometimes, both can be freakin' hard!!! Writing ain't easy.

Wrote another page. Finished reading the book; now need to write the review. Also, started gathering notes, lessons and handouts for the new online class, Romance Writing 101.
